The Nashville Headquarters claim center and the claim centers at the district offices in Chattanooga, Knoxville and Memphis are open for walk-in claims, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Players who win prizes of $200,000 or more must claim their prize at the Nashville Headquarters & Claim Center.

Please have the following documents ready when claiming a prize:

  • A signed winning ticket. (Copies not accepted.)
  • A completed claim form for prizes of $600 and more.
  • Proof of ID such as State-Issued Driver’s License, Military ID card, etc.
  • Proof of Social Security Number. Social Security number must be on a computer-generated document with your name and all nine (9) digits displayed, such as Social Security card, pay stub or tax form(s).

Players can claim prizes less than $600 at any of our retailer locations or by mail.

Prize claims less than $600 do not require a claim form. Please include contact information on prizes claimed by mail in the event we need to contact you.

Prizes of $600 or more can be claimed by mailing in the actual signed winning ticket (no copies accepted) with appropriate documentation (see above) and a completed claim form to P.O. Box 290636, Nashville, TN 37229-0636.

Reminder: All claims for drawing-style tickets must be made or postmarked (if mailed) within 180 days after the official winning draw date for that ticket and 90 days after the announced game end date for instant tickets.

 

FAQs

What prize levels require a claim form?
Prizes of $600 or more require a claim form. For claims made by mail for prizes less than $600, a claim form is not required, but include your contact information in the event we need to contact you. Sign the back of the actual ticket (no copies accepted).

If you are mailing your claim without a claim form, include your name, address and contact information either on the ticket or on a separate piece of paper.

How do I submit a prize claim of $600 or more by mail or in person?
Sign the back of your actual winning ticket (no copies accepted).

For claims of $600 or more, you must submit a completed claim form copy of a valid ID and proof of Social Security number.*

Valid Id’s include:

  • State-Issued Driver’s License;
  • Voter’s Registration Identification Card;
  • State-Issued Identification Card;
  • Military Identification Card;
  • Passport; or
  • Alien Registration Receipt Card.

*Social Security number must be on a computer-generated document with your name and all nine (9) digits displayed, such as Social Security card, pay stub or tax forms.

What if I forgot to include a document when I mailed in my claim?
If you mail in a claim and then are contacted by the Tennessee Lottery to provide any of the above information regarding your claim, you can email a photo copy of it to [email protected].

Please note, failure to include required information for mail-in claims will delay the processing of your claim.

Should I send in my prize claim by registered mail?
It is encouraged to send your claim by registered mail. The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation is not responsible for tickets that are lost, damaged or delayed by the U.S. Postal Service or any other carrier.

How do I find out when my prize might expire?
All mail-in claims for drawing-style tickets must be postmarked within 180 days after the official winning draw date for that ticket.
All mail-in claims for instant games must be postmarked within 90 days of the announced instant game end date. For a list of ended instant games, click here.

How long will it take to receive my prize by mail?
We ask for your patience as we work to process your claims as quickly as possible.
