REAL VERSUS THE IMAGINED: TRUCK DRIVER IN SHOCK WHEN HE WINS $1,000,000

Stanton, Tenn. – As a commercial truck driver, Yuriy Zalyevskyy has had some time out on the road to imagine how he would react to winning a large Lottery jackpot.

So, headed to California, he pulled off Interstate 40 October 8th and into the Pilot Travel Center in Stanton, not knowing his preconceived notions were about to be flipped upside down.

There he bought several Tennessee Lottery instant game tickets, including a Millionaire Jumbo Bucks ticket, and scratched them while in the store.

“Before, I thought I’d be loud, jumping up and down,” Zalyevskyy said. But his actual reaction when his Millionaire Jumbo Bucks ticket revealed the top prize of $1,000,000?

“I could not speak,” he said. “I walked, slowly and quietly, to my truck because I didn’t know what was going on.”

Zalyevskyy, who lives in North Carolina, plans to use a portion of his winnings to purchase a home.
