$150,000 Powerball Winner in Mt. Juliet, $50,000 in Memphis

NASHVILLE—Jackpots are soaring and thousands are winning, including lucky Powerball players in Mt. Juliet and Memphis, who won $150,000 and $50,000 respectively from last night’s drawing. The jackpot for Powerball has grown to $345 million, while Mega Millions stands at a staggering $654 million for the drawing on Tuesday.

The Powerball player winners won by matching four of the five white numbers drawn plus the red Powerball, which is a base prize of $50,000. Since the Mt. Juliet winner added the Power Play option for an extra dollar, the base prize of $50,000 was tripled, as the multiplier number last night was three.

No information about the winners is available until the prizes are claimed.
