$2 MILLION POWERBALL WINNER IN ERIN; MEGA MILLIONS WON IN NY

There’s a Powerball ticket purchased in the northwest Tennessee town of Erin now worth $2 million after Saturday night’s Powerball drawing. The lucky ticket matched five of six numbers drawn, which begins as a $1 million prize. Since the as-yet-unknown player added the Power Play option for an extra dollar, the prize was doubled. No additional information about the winner is available until the prize is claimed.

Meanwhile this weekend, the Mega Millions jackpot of $127 million was won in New York.
