$4 Million Prize is Music to Musician’s Ears

NASHVILLE— A $4 million win from a Tennessee Lottery “Jumbo Bucks 300X” instant game was music to a Columbia resident’s ears, which is fitting since he is a musician in a bluegrass band.

“So many things are running through my mind,” said Eddie Glasco, a retired Air Force veteran who claimed the monumental prize this week at the Lottery’s Nashville office after meeting with President and CEO Rebecca Hargrove. Eddie isn’t sure of all the things he will do with his big win, although he said he does plan to pay off his house.

“We’ve been blessed,” Eddie said to his wife, who was there with him to claim the prize. “I never thought something like this could happen to me.”

Eddie purchased the lucky ticket at Kroger, 845 Nashville Hwy., in Columbia.
