MEMPHIS/ALAMO – As the Powerball jackpot continues to climb—now at a jaw-dropping $1.2 billion for Wednesday—thousands of Tennessee players have fun and win prizes from the game’s other prize levels along the way.

That includes two Memphis players last night who matched four out of five white balls plus the red Powerball to win $50,000 each. A third player, this time in Alamo, also matched four white balls plus the red Powerball in the Double Play drawing that follows the Powerball drawing to win $50,000.

The winning tickets were sold at:

Superlo Foods, 4744 Spottswood Ave. in Memphis.

–Superlo Foods, 3327 North Watkins in Memphis.

–Little General, 628 S. Cavalier Dr. in Alamo.

The Lottery reminds players to have fun and play responsibly. It only takes one ticket to win.

About Double Play: For an extra $1 per play, Double Play gives players a chance to win additional cash prizes up to $10 million with their Powerball numbers. Players play the same set of numbers in both the main Powerball drawing and the separate Double Play drawing. Powerball tickets that include the Double Play add-on are eligible to win prizes in both drawings.
