AUGUST POWERBALL HOT STREAK CONTINUES IN TENNESSEE

NASHVILLE – The August hot streak for Powerball players in Tennessee continues to run after a lucky player in Memphis won $50,000 in Saturday night’s drawing.

The player Saturday matched four out of five white Powerball numbers plus the red Powerball to win.

Since the Aug. 5 drawing, Powerball players in Tennessee have won $1,000,000; $250,000; $150,000 (twice); $100,000 (twice); and $50,000 (four times), including last night’s winning ticket.

Lucky players in Memphis have won $150,000 and $50,000 (twice, including last night’s winning ticket) during this streak.

The Aug. 22 winning ticket was purchased at Kroger Food & Pharmacy, 7735 Farmington Blvd in Memphis.

Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday.
