POWERBALL JACKPOT REACHES $240 MILLION MARKING A NEW RECORD HIGH IN TENNESSEE!

NASHVILLE – The Powerball jackpot soars to an estimated $240 million for the next drawing on Wednesday, October 12. Surpassing the record high of $215 million set twice in Tennessee, the estimated $240 million jackpot becomes the highest since Tennessee joined the multi-state Powerball game on April 19, 2004.

Although no player matched all six numbers correctly in Saturday night’s drawing, there were 71,763 winners who purchased tickets from Tennessee retailers, one of whom purchased a $200,000 winning ticket in Samburg in northwest Tennessee. By selecting the Power Play option, 13,184 players multiplied their winnings by five.

The Lotto 5 Jackpot reaches $175,000 as it rolls over to the next drawing on Monday, October 10. Last night’s drawing produced 1,400 winners, including 35 players who each won $248 and 1,365 players who each won $10.
