POWERBALL JACKPOT SOARS TO $1.4 BILLION; THOUSANDS OF WINNERS ALONG THE WAY

STATEWIDE – Up, up … and away! The Powerball jackpot continues to soar—now at a staggering $1.4 billion for Saturday—and thousands of Tennessee players continue to enjoy the excitement and win prizes from the game’s other prize levels along the way.

That includes four big winners from last night’s drawing who won cash prizes of $50,000 and $100,000 in three different ways:

$50,000 – This player matched four of five white balls plus the Powerball to win $50,000. The ticket was purchased at Elora Market and Deli in Elora (Lincoln County).

$100,000 – This player also matched four of five white balls plus the Powerball, but added the Power Play option for an extra dollar. Since the multiplier drawn last night was two, the prize was doubled. This lucky ticket was purchased at Mapco, 3800 Murfreesboro Pike in Antioch.

$50,000 – Two winners, one in Maryville and the other in Pigeon Forge, won $50,000 each in the Double Play drawing that follows the main Powerball drawing. Those tickets were sold at:

–Weigel’s, 1920 W. Broadway in Maryville.

–Food City, 3064 Teaster Lane in Pigeon Forge.

The Lottery reminds players to have fun and play responsibly. It only takes one ticket to win.
